Jonathan Abaee - Owner & Founder
From an early age, Jonathan was drawn to design, structure, and the art of creating something from nothing. What started as a love for architecture grew into a passion for building homes that bring together creativity and engineering in a way that feels effortless and refined.
Jonathan served six years in the Army National Guard as a combat engineer. That experience shaped his discipline, attention to detail, and respect for solid, trustworthy construction. He later spent more than a decade in the energy sector, developing advanced technologies such as hydrogen fuel systems and energy storage. The technical mindset he gained from that work carries into every home he builds. He believes a home should not only look beautiful, it should perform beautifully too.
Today, Abaee Custom Homes reflects that blend of imagination, engineering, and hands on leadership. Jonathan is involved in every project, working closely with top architects, designers, and craftsmen to ensure that every detail is done with intention. His mission is simple: build homes that inspire, that feel good to live in, and that stand the test of time.
As a husband and father of two, Jonathan understands that a home is more than a structure. It is the backdrop to family life and the place where memories take root. That understanding guides his approach from the first conversation to the final walkthrough. The result is an enjoyable, transparent building experience and a home created with care, pride, and purpose.

I’m not the kind of builder who disappears once the contract is signed. I’m on site regularly, walking every stage of construction, checking the details, and making sure everything is done the right way. My clients don’t have to go through layers of middlemen, they work directly with me. Whether it’s reviewing framing, coordinating trades, or refining a design detail, I stay involved because that’s how great homes get built. It’s also how we avoid surprises, keep things moving, and create a better experience from start to finish.

I build homes because I genuinely love the process. From the first sketch to the final walkthrough. There’s something powerful about taking a vision and turning it into a space where real life happens. What drives me most is knowing that a family will make memories in the home we’ve created together. That’s why I obsess over the details, why I walk every jobsite, and why I treat every project like it matters, because it does.
